VoIP for Enterprise – Advanced technology made simple

Save $1000’s with proven VoIP solutions from Better VoIP

As a corporate business you’re far more reliant on your phone system than a small business. Without it, you could lose $100,000’s in just one day downtime, not to mention the waste of 100’s of staff sitting around unable to make or receive phone calls!

You also have to be more responsible than your smaller counterparts. They might be able to tolerate inferior call quality or communication downtime when their internet connection fails – you can’t afford to.

Don’t be lured by unknown and unproven VoIP pbx systems and providers that will end up costing you $1000’s not saving you $1000’s. Cheap VoIP phone calls and the savings on phone line rentals are just the first thing you need to think about.

WARNING! All that glitters is not gold and greed almost always ends in tears!

Top benefits of VoIP pbx for your corporate business

VoIP phone systems offer your corporate business so much more than cheap phone calls. Imagine being able to:

• Link multiple locations

Did you know that if you run a business with multiple offices or with staff working remotely/from home, around 70% of the landline calls your business makes is to your other offices and remote staff?

VoIP allows you to control costs and call handling for multiple sites in a way that normal business phone systems simply can't! You’ll have:

o FREE calls between offices by linking your staff to your VoIP phone system network…no matter where they’re working from!

o The valuable benefit of visibility – you can tell exactly which staff are on a call, whether they are in your office or in Adelaide.

o Call overflow capabilities – when more calls come in than your receptionist can handle, calls can be directed to another office, i.e. a call for your Sydney office can be answered exactly the same in your Melbourne office and transferred to the correct staff member…and callers will never need to know!

o The option of offering staff the flexibility of working from home, which adds to staff happiness, lowers space requirements and reduces travel time 100%.

• Save $10,000’s by eliminating unnecessary staff

By linking multiple business locations, you’ll only need to employ 1 receptionist for all sites. You’ll save $30,000+ per year, be far more productive and sound exceptionally professional!

• Work from home and still be connected to the office phone system

A VoIP pbx allows you to work from the comfort of your home or hotel room without your customers ever needing to know. Your staff will be able to transfer calls, see if you are on the phone, retrieve your voicemail, transfer calls back to your office and you’ll be able to call them... for FREE!

• Mobility: leave the office and never lose a call

When you leave the office for lunch or at the end of the day, simply hit a button and your business phone calls will be automatically sent to your mobile – it’s the ultimate in customer service!

• Take your phone number with you when you travel

Another bonus of VoIP is that it's portable - as long as you have access to a broadband connection, you can take your phone number with you wherever you go. For example, if you're in a hotel in the Florida or London, calls to your Australian VoIP number will come straight to you. You will also be able to make outgoing calls for the same rate as you can at home.

• Get your new VoIP system for FREE

You’ll save so much money with dirt cheap VoIP call rates that it will basically pay for your new phone system. It’s like getting fuel for free when you buy a new car.

• Slash line rental charges

Everyone hates paying line rentals. Cut line rental costs in half with a VoIP solution. The average corporate sized business with X phone lines save $X+ a year with cheaper VoIP line rentals.

VoIP Telephones

There are three methods of connecting to a VoIP network:

1. Using a "normal" telephone with a VoIP adapter: VoIP PBX Hybrid

2. Using a VoIP telephone: Independently Controlled VOIP IP PBX

3. Using a computer with speakers and a microphone: VOIP IP PBX

VoIP PBX Hybrid – combine your existing phone system’s technology with the added benefits of VoIP functionality. Most clients opt for digital handsets as they are more reliable and cheaper, and then use VoIP phone handsets for remote users or those that work from home.

VoIP PBX Hybrid solutions offer you all the benefits at a fraction of the cost of a VoIP only solution. It also means that you can still use normal PSTN, ISDN or Primary rate phone lines as well as SIP trunking.

The benefit is you are never exclusively reliant upon your data network for communication. (i.e. if your internet is down for any reason, you will still be able to make phone calls and conduct business). All the leading brands offer these hybrid solutions as this is the most popular option.

Independently Controlled VOIP IP PBX– this option allows you to maintain the normal phone lines that are already installed in your site and operate VOIP through your IP handsets (not digital).

You control everything from the controller, or your main telephone equipment. It works with PSTN, ISDN, Primary rate or SIP trunking.

The downside to this system is that the additional costs of the IP handsets can make it a more expensive option than the VoIP hybrid above.

VOIP IP PBX – this is a VoIP only phone system which connects your IP handsets via the internet back to another location.

You don’t need any main equipment (or controller) in your office like traditional phone systems and everything is managed by the phone call supplier.

The downside is that because there are no normal phone lines and you don’t control your own phone system - if your internet goes down then technically, so does your phone system.

The benefit of an IP PBX is that you will only pay for virtual VoIP lines from VoIP carriers. This means you can eliminate your PSTN & ISDN phone line rentals and save a great deal of money!
